1. Acceptance of Terms
By executing the StyleUI local CLI daemon or connecting the StyleUI Chrome Extension, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the software. This constitutes a legally binding contract between you and StyleUI.
2. Software License Model
StyleUI licenses are sold on a single-user seat model. Each license grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to run the StyleUI local CLI binary and visual extensions on local workspaces owned or managed directly by the licensee. Redistribution, sublicensing, or hosting of the StyleUI daemon as a cloud-based multi-user workspace is strictly prohibited.
3. Local AST Modification Scope
StyleUI operates via Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) parsing, compiling Tailwind CSS class strings and writing edits directly to your local file system. You acknowledge that StyleUI mutates code directly. While StyleUI compiles modifications using Recast formatting preservation systems, you maintain sole responsibility for backing up your directories, utilizing version control (e.g., git), and reviewing diff output before committing mutations.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to bypass, disable, or tamper with the local cryptographic license verification engine. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the core source code of the local StyleUI binary is prohibited. You are prohibited from distributing tampered versions of the unlisted Chrome Extension or local packages.
5. Limitation of Liability
StyleUI is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, without warranty of any kind. Since the compiler runs completely offline on your physical hardware, StyleUI, its authors, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including code corruption, file system conflicts, or loss of git tracking) arising from your visual edit mutations.
